El logopeda és el professional sanitari competent per a l’avaluació, el diagnòstic i la intervenció en els trastorns de l’audició, i ha de mantenir una formació actualitzada per adaptar-se als avenços tecnològics i terapèutics.

El CLC impulsa la recerca sobre la prevalença, l’impacte funcional, l’avaluació i la intervenció en la hipoacúsia, i promou la creació d’instruments adaptats al context lingüístic i cultural.

El CLC defensa un abordatge interdisciplinari i basat en l’evidència científica per a la pèrdua auditiva, amb la participació de la família i evitant pràctiques amb escassa validesa.
